On January 20, 1961, President John Fitzgerald Kennedy was sworn in as President. Americans were thrilled as he was perceived as a "young and handsome fellow." The speech was greatly remembered by this words, "My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country."
From my perspective, I delineated President Kennedy's speech as remarkably intriguing and profoundly amazing. Initially Kennedy did not want to become a President, that was one of his other brothers goal. That is until, he was spontaneously killed. And so the dream of being POTUS fell on JFK to keep the dream alive. Kennedy would later meet Jaqueline Bouvier Kennedy, subsequently they would have 2 kids.
The children were named Caroline Kennedy and John F. Kennedy Jr., Caroline and John would later receive the news that their father was killed on a trip in Dallas, TX. It would be incredibly tragic for Caroline to hear, John didn't fully comprehend it. Anyway, to end this perpetual phenomenon...
John F. Kennedy was my favorite President and it has been 56 years since that pernicious and incredulous day in Dallas, he will be remembered for his great work and dedication. JFK will be remembered for his short Presidency, which is virtually compared to Warren G. Harding in a way.  November 22, 1963 will live in infamy. Just as President Roosevelt said after Pear Harbor. His legacy will live on and he will not be forgotten.
